Biography

CHRIS HARTMAN joined YOUNG & Associates in 2011. He has been active in the insurance and claims industry for over 20 years. Utilizing methodologies developed in prior professional fields, Chris has substantial experience in building damage assessment, loss causation, research, loss documentation, project estimation, and construction skills development as a Building Consultant. Prior loss experience leans heavily on catastrophic events including windstorm, hurricane, hail, and flood losses to residential and commercial structures, as well as non-catastrophic large loss fire and water events. As a Senior Regional Consultant with YOUNG & Associates, Chris has consulted on a wide variety of losses for commercial, military, municipal and institutional, multi-family, and high-end residential projects. Additional responsibilities include onsite loss management, field data recovery and systems, data synthesis, and inspection logistics.
