Biography

JIM CHILSON joined YOUNG & Associates in April 2011. Jim started in the construction industry while earning a degree in Civil Engineering and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. His diverse construction background has afforded him to work as a site surveyor, AutoCAD technician, estimator, field engineer, area superintendent, project engineer, and assistant project manager for many different construction projects. Jim has been responsible for projects that ranged in size from $200,000 to over $700 million. As a Regional Consultant for YOUNG & Associates, Jim has consulted on a large array of losses on commercial properties, medical, health care, hospitality & entertainment, schools & colleges, research facilities, multi-use facilities, and residential properties.
