Biography

JOSEPH GILLETTE CR, WLS joined YOUNG & Associates in 2019 as a Regional Consultant. In the construction industry since 1981, Joe began his carrier in the construction industry as a site developer and custom home builder before crossing over to the insurance restoration field in 1995. He has experience in all facets of construction including estimating, budgeting, project management, and forecasting. After beginning his tenure in the restoration field as an estimator, Joe served as Senior VP for a major insurance restoration company overseeing the northeast operations before opening a full-service insurance restoration company servicing the Northeast and Maryland. His experience as both a contractor and consultant have provided him the ability to see and understand all facets of the insurance claim industry from both the contractor and carrier perspective.
Joe has been asked to consultant on a variety of homeowner, commercial, and industrial large losses both as a contractor and consultant. Joe has earned the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) of Certified Restorer (CR) and Water Loss Specialist (WLS) and is a past board member of the RIA.
