Karl Feller

Biography

Karl brings 26 years of elevator experience to the YOUNG & Associates team. Karl began his career in the elevator industry as a union elevator constructor in the Washington, D.C. metro area which eventually led to the successful completion of his apprenticeship and passing his IUEC Mechanics Exam. He spent 11 years in the field working in service, repair, construction, and modernization until he was asked to take a supervisory role in the office. Karl has worked in several markets including Washington, D.C., Central/Western MA, VT, NH, RI, The Greater NYC Area, and Boston, MA. He has held the positions of maintenance supervisor, repair superintendent, service manager, service operations manager, and modernization superintendent. He is skilled in surveying, estimating, ordering, project management, labor management, P&L responsibility, and promoting a culture of safety. Karl holds a BS in Electronic Engineering and an AS in Electronic Engineering Technology both of which he earned from Johnson & Wales University.
